How much does it cost to board my pet?

answer_img

Our resort has several different suite sizes to accommodate pets from 5 pounds to 155 pounds! The total cost for boarding may vary based on your pets size, suite availability, owner preference of “pup-grades” and choice of amenities scheduled during your pet’s stay. There is an additional fee for multiple pets that stay in the same suite. Please review our fee schedule and contact our reservations specialists to get more detailed information.

question_img-1

What are your hours for check-in and check-out?

answer_img

Our lobby is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday and Sunday to welcome resort guests. Owners can check their pet in anytime during regular business hours. We do recommend that if you are planning an afternoon drop off that you try to come no later than 3pm so we can get guests outside for fun and exercise before the end of the day. Check out is anytime before 1pm or it is considered a “late check out” and there will be an additional half-day charge on the suite size reserved. Your pet’s suite is then reserved for them until close of business at 6:00pm.

question_img-1

Am I allowed to bring items from home for my pets stay?

answer_img

Your pets happiness and comfort are our top priority. If that means bringing along a favorite toy, blanket, or bed from home then we absolutely will accept it. The owner provided belongings are inventoried and labeled at check-in and then placed in your pets reserved suite. However, we are not responsible for owner provided items and they will not be replaced if damaged or destroyed so please no items that are breakable, expensive, or sentimental.

question_img-1

What is included with my pets overnight suite rate?

answer_img

Boulder Falls is an all-inclusive resort for dogs, cats, and small exotics. All guests stay in our indoor air-conditioned facility and have various activities throughout the day to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. Our canine guests get plenty of fresh air and exercise in our acre+ fenced yard during their stay. Our feline guests stay indoors but get to come out of their suites throughout the day for love and attention. For dogs and cats blankets and bedding, meals, playtimes, and treats (if allowed) are all included with your suite rate. Owners can provide their own food and treats if preferred and specific feeding instructions will be reviewed at check-in. For small exotics, we ask that a habitat and food be provided and care instructions will be reviewed at check-in. Our highly trained staff is ready and able to meet and exceed all of your pets vacation expectations!

question_img-1

Will my dog get to play with other dogs?

answer_img

At Boulder Falls we are advocates for socializing dogs and our guests love our group playtimes! We cater to all types of dogs- young and old, large and small, rambunctious and gentle. Our trained staff will organize playgroups based on the information provided by owners via our Temperament Evaluation questionnaire and observations made on-site as we introduce your pet to the group environment. All guests 8 months or older must be spayed or neutered to be eligible for Group Play and owners must sign a consent form for their dog to participate. There is a one-time $12 fee for a new guest’s evaluation process. Once a guest has passed the evaluation, all group playtimes are included- let the fun begin!

question_img-1

What happens if my dog becomes ill or gets injured?

answer_img

At Boulder Falls, the health, safety, and well-being of our guests is our primary concern. Just like children on a playground, dogs enjoy romping, running, and rough-housing which can occasionally result in minor scrapes, nicks, and punctures. Our staff monitors play groups closely and are trained to facilitate proper behavior and re-direct any guest that might be getting a bit too much for the group. If any such injury occurs, or any unusual behavior such as limping, vomiting, lethargy etc. is observed, it is detailed in a daily log and monitored for progression. Guests can sometimes have some of these symptoms due to stress from being away from home or just the excitement of a new environment. Owners will be notified at the departure of any such events unless cause for concern arises at which time the owner will be notified immediately. If medical attention is deemed necessary for any reason, the guest will be taken to the primary veterinarian on record or emergency clinic for treatment at the owner’s expense.

question_img-1

What other services do you offer?

answer_img

In addition to overnight boarding for small animals, we offer full-service professional grooming in The Salon at Boulder Falls and daycare service for guests who just want to come and play for the day!

question_img-1

What is required for my pet to board at Boulder Falls?

answer_img

All of our guests must provide veterinary proof of current vaccinations. We do not accept home vaccinations or vaccines provided by breeders. We want to assure that all of our guests are happy and healthy and have had a vet checkup within the last 12 months.

For our canine guests we require:

  • Rabies vaccine (1 or 3 years are accepted)
  • Bordetella vaccine (6 months or 1 year accepted)
  • Distemper/Parvo combination vaccine (1-3 year accepted- we will also accept proof of current Vaccine Titer test)

For our feline guests we require:

  • Rabies vaccine (1 or 3 years accepted)
  • FVRCP combination vaccine (1 or 3 yr accepted)

Though we do not currently require proof of the Leptospirosis vaccine or the Canine Influenza vaccine, we highly recommend that our clients consult with their veterinarian about the importance of this protection and disease prevention.

Current proof of vaccinations is required to participate in daycare and for booking salon services.

Flea and tick prevention/protection is also required. We use Frontline Plus 30-day topical treatment for a fee of $17.50 per application. If a client currently uses a different product we ask that you check with our reservations specialists to see if it is a product that is approved by our facility. There are other topical treatments and some oral medications that we will accept, however most over-the-counter products we do not.

question_img-1

How often does my dog get to go outdoors for playtime and potty breaks?

answer_img

All of our canine guests get to go outdoors and get fresh air and exercise four to five times per day in any one of our fenced play areas. Whether they are signed up for our Group Play or are on an Individual basis, we want them to be able to play, sniff, explore, and potty outside where they are supposed to!

question_img-1
